1 Hospital including Physiotherapists, Radiography and Outpatients
Plans are progressing to update the facilities by the creation of a new Hub. The aim is a genuine transformation with patient centred care delivered by a single, truly integrated team. This encompasses a wide range of services and staff groups. It includes all primary care, community hospital, community health and social care teams, social work, residential care and administration teams. These services will be accessed through a single point of contact.
Building a Health and Social Care Hub on Arran has been identified as key to the longer term success of achieving team integration and the efficiencies necessary to support such transformational change.
Arran War Memorial Hospital is a 17-bed hospital with Accident and Emergency services, maternity, and a range of outpatient services. It is staffed by local GPs supported by other professions, both visiting and inhouse.
