In response to the Island of Arran and National Housing Emergency, The Arran Development Trust is delighted to bring to market 23 serviced self-build plots at Hall’s Field, Lamlash, Arran.

All 23 serviced self-build plots will carry a Rural Housing Burden on the Title Deed to ensure potential buyers purchase and use the plots to build a principle residence and not a second or holiday home.  All 23 serviced self-build plot prices have been heavily discounted from the Valuation survey taking into account the Rural Housing Burden. Profits from plots sales will go towards building more affordable homes on the Island of Arran.

The Arran Development Trust is working closely with Buildstore, the UKs foremost specialist self-build advisors and finance providers for self-build projects.  Representatives from Buildstore will be undertaking a series of presentations to all interested self-builders on Arran during the Summer months.  Topics will include Planning Your Self-Build, Self-Build Construction Methods and Financing Your Self-Build.
