The Arran Development Trust is completing an application to the Scottish Government this week for partial grant funding for 43 affordable and 14 self-build houses. They will then come to the Community to ask for further support when the final stage of the application is lodged.

In the meantime NAC will be building 34 houses in Brathwic Terrace in Brodick starting in the Autumn. To get one of these houses you need to be on the Housing List. The guidelines and online applications for these can be found in the links below. Do not be put off by your apparent lack of points as people on Arran have more than they think. If your house is tied to your job, if you are overcrowded, if you are in substandard housing or in a caravan then you need to get on the list. NAC rents will be substantially less than existing social housing providers.

NAC will visit Brodick on Tuesday the 18th June in the Ormidale Pavilion 4-6pm for a “Meet the Builder” event. Please go along to show your interest.
