INTEREST IN SELF-BUILD PLOTS ON ARRAN
During the Arran Development Trust (ADT) community engagement events, a healthy number of people aspired to build their own home on the island, so as a consequence, The ADT are now looking for the Arran residents to make that official.
Expressions of Interest from people living on Arran who are interested in purchasing a Self-Build Plot from the ADT when they become available should register their official interest on a confidential list by filling out the form on our website. Here we need to know your name, current address, telephone number and email address and finally if you are interested in building a 2, 3 or 4 bedroom home on a plot.
It is important to remember, the proposed self-build plots being offered for sale by the Arran Development Trust in the future will carry a Rural Housing Burden (can only be used as a principal residence and not as a holiday or second home).
The ADT need this information and will use it only as a guide, as it may form part of the evidence required for a future planning permission application. By registering an Expression of Interest applicants will be under no obligation to purchase.
We understand that you’ll have many questions about the prices, plot details etc, however we don’t have all this information fully available as yet. Right now we need to gather the level of interest to take it to the next step.
